Winner of the lady’s event was Sandra Piazza with 34 points, runner up Helen Ericsson.

Winner of B grade was Andrew Roseby with a great score of 42 points, runner up Paul Tanner with 39 points.

Wednesday comp also draw a large field of 26 players. Our computer said that Andrew Roseby won A grade but in fact it was Max Rampling from Thirteenth Beach with a great 37 points. Sorry Andrew, well done Max. Runner up David Clark.

B grade winner was country member Chris Rowney with a brilliant 39 points, runner up Peter Vasey with 38 points.

The Late Leslie Brown.

Last Friday, 37 friends of the late Les Brown played at our course in memory of Les. They certainly celebrated in style with the Club taking over $3000, a huge thanks to Dick Matthews and Trout Batt for looking after them.

My apologies in not mention Peter Stewart’s name for working on Boxing day, thanks Peter. We wish you and your family well as your wife had an operation this week.

Have you put your name down on the roster????

I wish to thank the members who have helped out to date – the commitment you have made to ensure visitors are welcomed to our course is greatly appreciated and the revenue for the Club is outstanding.

Next month the Club will have a lot of firewood for sale as we are pruning trees. If you are interested, please contact me.

Pennant Teams

It is good that the ladies are finalizing their pennant teams for this season’s pennant.

Have you contacted Captain David if you are willing to play pennant? I believe last year’s premiers’ team are going back to back. Teams have to be submitted by the 15th.

Also a reminder that the Chris Rigoni 4BBB begins Saturday week.

Centennial Shirts

Did you miss out early this year in purchasing a centennial shirt.

Following a request for the shirts, orders forms are available at the Club house, cost $45.
